From the back the lenses true colors are a calobar green... just like the old B&L lenses. These lenses have been upgraded to plutonite so they won't shatter.

Yesterday I got a chance to hear my fellow Pacific University College of Optometry (Oregon) alumni Dr. Reichow explain the development and use of the Nike Sparq Strobe Goggles and how it is being used to improve athletes sensory performance. Talking with Al took me back to my preceptorship at Pacific University’s Visual Training Clinic in Forest Grove, Oregon. Good seeing you again Dr. Reichow… It was fun to reminisce about our days at Pacific University. Yes you are right, I guess it took deep pockets (Nike) to bring the sensory performance concepts to the mainstream consumer. Now University of Oregon Duck’s secret (training) weapon will now be in the hands of athletes everywhere.
