Dr. Daniel Yamamoto has served the eye care needs of Hawaii for over 33 years. Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Dan attended Pacific University and Pacific University College of Optometry. He is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Dan has a special interest in difficult rigid gas permeable contact lens fits. In 1991, the Hawaii Optometric Association selected Dr. Dan as the “Young Optometrist of the Year”. Dr. Dan is married and has two daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Dan enjoys fishing, cycling, hiking, and restoring old Schwinn bicycles.
